Nice creativity with color, pattern and design. Be patient with applying paint to keep colors transparent. Don't be afraid to apply layers of color to help build values which will become depth and help define overlapping objects and detail. Good attention to shapes, proportions and detail. Think about colors and values to develop background vs object.

Kain was telling me just yesterday about draining this picture, how he started and didn't get to finish. I'm sure his teacher will put his tree on here at different points of where he's at so we can see the outcomes. He's such a great Lil artist!! This is all he dreams to be in life so I pray God keeps him on that journey :) -- Ashley aka mom

Kain, Just wanted to let you know Nana just viewed your newest art work " An Oak Tree ". And I am so proud of you . My first tree to draw was when I was in the 9th grade and I found it to be rather frustrating. But my teacher thought otherwise . So continue to work hard and be inspired by even the small things you draw because Nan sees the greatness in your art . Love your tree and can see us enjoying a picnic under those strong branch's. ( w/ lots of ur favorite snacks , chocolate .) love Nanagirl -- Debbie
