Love the simplicity of the abstract with the organic free form shapes. Adding the color gives it the nice contrast to the black and white. Think your art teacher had a great idea to allow you the freedom to express yourself. Even though it has repetitious lines it is so spontaneous in your execution..great job!

Nice symmetry, lots of people enjoy symmetry in their everyday life. We like our TV in the middle with shelves on each side that match. People's bodies are symmetrical, but we do have tiny differences in each half of our faces. If we could put 2 right halves together they do say we would not recognize this as our own photograph. You did a great job of making both sides of your art exactly the same. Good Job!

Really like your composition and use of color. The limited palette works great with your subject matter. The mixed media (combining cut paper with line drawing) and vertical format is so modern. In other words Ellis, I love it, from one artist to another it is the best!
