It’s a mouse out on a swing in the middle of the jungle. That’s not just any mouse! He’s very strong because he has a lot of mousels ??

The balance you use in your work is consistently great. It draws in and challenges the eye to follow. It’s very interesting Grandpa

This artwork is absolutely striking. It easily could have been something Van Gogh did in his younger years. The inspiration for your subject flowers and artistic balance is genius. I know work of a genius when I see it. Grandpa

Josiah! Terrific! This must’ve taken quit awhile to finish too! Wow! You did a great job!!! I love how the lines curve over your fingers, just as if they were a blanket laid over your hand! You’re learning such cool techniques!

This artwork is so interesting in that it definitely has a direction. It catches your attention with the borders, then the items are in an interesting dimension size and arrangement. You can tell this is an artistic kid as he just does the balancing naturally.

This one is still my favorite—the road and trees getting smaller further away—great perspective, Josiah! Little red riding hood looks more like a BIG sister here though, marching with a long rugged stride and a stiff back—totally fearless! I don’t think the big bad wolf is going to give this girl any trouble!

I love this pinchy bowl so much!!! I’ve got it in my favorite spot by my kitchen window where I can see it every day! You chose beautiful colors for it, Josiah! And the little holes at the top make it look like lace around the edges.

Oh Josiah, those colors are great! It looks like your stars are glowing! You must’ve colored first with crayons, and then did you paint the sky blue? Brilliant! That’s called masking! Gramma does it with something waterproof to mask the spots she wants to be light colored. Then she can paint darker colors without fear over the masked spots! Some masking can be removed, like rubber masking paint, or masking tape. So after you’ve masked and painted, the masking is removed to reveal the white underneath! Well, you’re getting pretty smart to be doing these techniques!

I’m so glad to have this lil pot in my kitchen!! It’s so colorful and shiny! I can hardly believe I get to keep this neat lil pot! I’ll keep little treasures in it...??
