Black with white stripes or white with black stripes?!

Seeing this third coffee filter piece. I can tell you really liked being able to change each piece to make them each unique. I love these colors and how they blend too. I would love to have fun creating more of these together - hopefully soon. Yay!!

I really like your peaceful use of “cool” colors with this coffee filter work. The cutting pattern used is different from the more brightly colored one, but fits with this piece perfectly. Yay - you are fantastic!!

I agree - Andy Warhol is a great subject for this assignment. He really would make a great pumpkin. The Campbell’s soup can was a great addition. It is a perfect reminder of his artwork. Another fantastic display of your artistic abilities.

I really am enjoying the depth perception shown in this piece. That is one of the skills I am still struggling with when I draw and paint. I do not see any crooked lines that stand out as a mistake. You have done a fabulous job with this artwork.

I am enjoying looking at this artwork and appreciating the color, pattern and seeing how carefully you created it. I feel as though I can reach out and fold each piece back into a square and then reverse it so it returns to your fabulous pattern.

Another peaceful winter “artscape”. I feel as though I am cozy inside our family cabin reading a newspaper and watching the snow fall outside and wishing you here to enjoy it with me.

Very interesting subject - it inspires thoughtfulness and ideas. I first thought of a flag then a grate then a heater register. Looking at it as a pattern, it is symmetrical and carefully done. I see what you mean about the slight bleed of one of the black lines, but I think it adds to the painting with an unexpected difference. I love it along with all your artwork??????

I love this picture of the dolphin, Trey. It looks like it could jump right off the page. I love the dolphin’s shape and the shading. I especially like the shading of the ocean and the darkening of the water showing that the water is deeper behind the dolphin. This is one of my favorite pictures!!
