Dear Emma, This latest landscape reminds me of our family being together in Western Pennsylvania last July after the huge thunder and lightning storm we drove through! The colors everywhere were intense. You caught them on paper with this amazing painting. I ??this work.

This painting is really beautiful. I love your use of color to show the vibrant beauty of the butterfly in the foreground, against the blue sky and green trees, with birds soaring in the background. It is especially timely, too, since Texas is currently in the midst of the Monarch Migration!
