This is an interesting style. I like the bright colors. If I’m not mistaken, the artist told me this piece was a self portrait. If that is true, then I wonder when they feel like this? I’m thinking Monday morning but it’s a balmy 70° outside. Another possibility is that one side of the face displays what the artist portrays to the world and the other side is how they feel on the inside.
