This is really nice! I like the shading and the melting cherry. Making this in black and white makes it look a bit sinister and I like it!

I love the bubbles and light bulbs!

I like these a lot! The bubbles are really POPPIN'! I like the breakfast cereal - full of IDEAS! What does this say about your "identity, interest or culture"?

This looks like a freeze-frame from an old movie! I love it. Your technique is looking BOSS.

I love the way the waves look!

I like the shading here too! You really captured her likeness well!

I really like your shading work here. Very cool!

So much joy in this picture! I like it a lot and the message is one that I need to tell myself, too. Lift EVERYONE up!

I love the positivity!!

June I love the fuzzy edges of the star. This whole work reminds me of the sea!
- Jessica (Mother) on November 18, 2020
This is really colorful and cool. Kind of looks like I am looking at it under a microscope and seeing some kind of cool cellular activity. A lot of action going on here, too. It pops off the page. Super nice work!

I like this one because it shows that balance is not something easily achieved. There are bumps in the road, but over time you can correct your balance - and sometimes you need help! A hammock has perfect balance, a banana peel interrupts that balance but then we have those figures (people? - it's hard to see), righting the "E" to make everything "balanced" again. Great work!

I was excited to hear that your teacher really liked your interpretation of this assignment. I agree! My favorite parts are the tightrope and banana peel!

June, love your King and Queen in our COVID world. You show so much expression in the eyes of the Queen and in the mouth of the King. The colored circles remind me of the virus floating in the air. Great job!

I love it! SO creative and speaks to the times we're in. The girl likes playing by the rules and masking up, while the boy laughs it all off. The girl knows better, for sure. So colorful and I really like the shading!

I love this piece. The mask and the floating pieces give the viewer so much to think about given the pandemic.
