Wow, in Mexico this is a popular image. It honors the dual energies between the Sun and the Moon - we need both to keep balance and harmony on Earth. For some it is the Masculine and Feminine energies. We call the Sun - Tonatiuh and we call the Moon - Metzli :) I love it! Such a powerful and beautiful render of these life giving energies!
