Papa saw a pink faced girl smiling. Grandma loves the colors. Keep the art coming Estelle.

At first glance "Chicago Skyline" is a captivating piece with its exploration of clean lines, tertiary colors and a parallelly proportioned palette. Simply put, it's a warm, inviting sunset on a late August day. But search deeper into this compelling work and you'll find a thought-provoking commentary on life in the city. The buildings cast in shadow... or a blackout blanketing the metro? The haphazard strokes of obsidian in the water... intentional? Or a coincidental "accident" suggesting turmoil on the horizon? The days of summer ticking down to the darkness of the impending winter months...

I'd like to title this work: An Ode to Starbucks, which seems fitting for the young artist who was once a Starbucks barista for Halloween. Perhaps it's influenced by the tight relationship she has with her parents... both avid Starbucks devotees. The mermaid design is, of course, timely with the release of Disney's Little Mermaid remake this weekend. This art blends the anticipation of summer on the horizon with the classic, cozy familiarness of a winter recently passed. It is a melange of art forms seamlessly blending together like a soy chai latte with 3 pumps of hazelnut. A true Ode to Starbucks. *Let's just hope the artist's name was spelled correctly on this gem.

I love your person with the yarn hair. It's very creative and love the bright colors too. You are quite the artist. Of course, we already knew that with all your other creative pieces. Love, Grandma and Papa

This breathtaking 3-dimensional diorama brings to mind the miniatures display at the famed Art Institute of Chicago. Every picture truly does tell a story. Estelle's growth as an artist continues to grow and develop and bloom, her thoughts and ideas broadening, her creative talents most certainly towering above her peers, like the joyful tree... like the exquisite plant showcased in this fine masterpiece.

Wow Estelle, that's really cool! PaPa is going to love this artwork. You'll have to tell me how you did it. Is it on foil? Love, Grandma with long hair.

Estelle, I love your new artwork. I believe you have surpassed Grandma’s artwork. You have great ideas. Seeing all your artwork makes me happy.

That’s awesome Estelle. I love it!

At first glance this appears as a warm "summer" day off the coast of Australia. The reflection in the water brings this piece to life drawing the eye down toward the calming waves after the initial scope of the glorious sun-blazed sky captures the viewers attention at first glance. The waterside formations, in my mind, represent a great white shark hanging on its side, fin protruding outward. Or perhaps surfboards booming from out of the seas. Either way, a maritime marvel imagined by the visionary Estelle.

Love the artwork Estelle especially the sky with the gradual, yellow to orange to red. Liked the waves in the red too. Keep making these beautiful creations.

Love the use of colors Estelle. The girls look like they’re having a lot of fun in the water. The blonde looks like she could be you. Maybe another artist in the family!

A compelling sculpture by a young creator who has branched out into the world of 3-dimensional art. "Untitled" offers us, as spectators, the opportunity to draw our own conclusions about the work. This piece, visually stunning in its expressive nature, symbolizes an owl in peril-- crushed by a force reminiscent of climate change and/or the unethical treatment of animals. It's refreshing to see an 8-year-old take a strong stance on such a significant (and some might argue polarizing) subject matter. PETA would be proud.

A hot summer day always includes a spinkle donut. Estelle's line definition is crisp and clean yet the waves of sunlight draw intrigue and playfulness. It is obvious to all of her adoring fans, that she takes her craft very seriously.

Absolutely striking. I picture an oversized painting of this masterpiece hanging over a chic velvet fainting couch in the lobby of the trendy W Hotel. Estelle's ability to dramatically shift from watercolor to ceramics to abstract art like this undoubtedly puts her a step above most budding artists of her age. This particular piece is reminiscent of an avocado sliced with precision in half, exposing a newborn's face in slumber... perhaps symbolizing the spring of life.

Awesome Estelle! It’s a great visual design.

Love the two tone contemporary pottery vase. The design is exquisite. And love the twigs in the vase. Great job Estelle!

AWESOME!!!! I totally agree with all the comments. They took the words right out of my mouth!!! Happy to e that Estelle doesn’t follow in my footsteps! I can’t even draw a decent stickman!!! Maybe Estelle can tutor me in art!! Keep up the great work!
- Linda on May 25, 2022
I’m not sure that I can top that comment by Cydney. Papa and I love the bright colors. You are quite talented Estelle. We love looking at your artwork. You’re very good at drawing animals. Looks like we have another artist in the family.
- Linda on May 25, 2022
Estelle has done it again. Somebody get this girl an agent! The action is captured magically with the abstract portions of the animal's face as well as the organic paint splatters dispersed throughout. And the color choices most certainly represent the Ukrainian flag... a bold and commendable choice with regards to the happenings overseas. Always nice to see a young person so in touch with our world's current events. While the canine is a universally loved animal, some might expect a less predictable choice from an ingenue such as Estelle... perhaps a bunny. Perhaps next time...

Yet another uplifting and positive creation by the remarkable young talent. Estelle effectively channels Jim Dine with her bright color palette and the bold heart at center stage. The dark background is a brave choice, which I see as a symbol. The happiness of the heart emerging from the darkness. This masterpiece signifies hope in a world where sometimes we don't have much. I look forward to the artist's next work.

Estelle never ceases to amaze with her talent and her eye for color and creativity. As a Pisces I especially appreciate the water element of this piece. The mixed media process is something she hasn't explored much until now - I think the young ingenue has turned a corned in her artistic abilities, showing a strong appreciation for texture and depth and she's taking risks not often seen by artists her age.
- Aunt Cyd on February 16, 2022

Papa says your artwork is very "hip and contemporary"! And grandma agrees.
- Linda on November 29, 2021
What a stunning work by the young talent. I didn't even notice the initials initially... which makes this a very thought-provoking piece. Reminiscent of a stained glass window. The hearts surrounding the piece represent love, kindness, and peace... the trifecta to well-being.

Love, love, love this picture of dancing mannequins!! You did such a great job with all the dancing poses!! Keep up the great work!
- Mackenzie (Mother) on October 28, 2021

This is a wonderful dimensional piece of art of a dancer! I also love the colors you selected for the background and wavy lines. Makes me feel like the dancer is floating over the dance floor!
- Mackenzie (Mother) on October 28, 2021

The Farmer’s Market or Farm to Table come to mind as a great title for this very colorful masterpiece. Happy to see you colored the tractor green because as your cousin Braelyn and Uncle Corey say, if it’s red leave it in the shed!
- Mackenzie (Mother) on October 28, 2021
Another masterpiece by an emerging young talent. Estelle has developed a keen eye for perspective and the collage element is a very nice touch. I hope she adds this compelling piece to her collection in the guest room. It deserves a space on the wall.
- Aunt Cyd on October 28, 2021
Awesome job Estelle! Glad to see you colored the tractor green because that’s the only kind there is! Keep up the fantastic work! You have truly been blessed!
- Linda on October 28, 2021

3-Dimensional art!!! This is fantastic, Estelle! Love the background too! You are so creative!! This should be in a museum!
- Aunt Cyd on October 28, 2021

Great job Estelle! You are so talented for your age and love seeing your progress! You didn’t get your talent from the grandma with the short hair!!! You made my day just seeing your new piece of art!! Love u
- Grandma Linda on October 28, 2021
Papa and I love the drawings of the mannequin Estelle. They are way cool. We are proud of you. Love you lots. Grandma and Papa
- Cydney on October 28, 2021
Really great work, Estelle! The mannequins looks like they're dancing! Love the usage of watercolor too!
- Aunt Cyd on October 28, 2021

Great job Estelle! I can see that you really enjoy art and have a talent that most people don’t have! Keep up the great work!

Where are my glasses?? Is this a Mondrian or is it an Estelle Kelley??
- Aunt Cyd on June 3, 2020

Estelle has once again proven she is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to her artistic talents. This unique perspective of snowmen playfully looking up to the sky and the falling snow is fresh, it's fun, and it's filled with frivolity. The variously shaped snowflakes are a true reminder that no two look alike. Just like how no other art looks quite like Estelle's.
- Cydney on June 3, 2020
PaPa and Grandma love your new creative artwork. The faces and the scarves are really cool. Keep up the great work. Anxious to see more in the coming weeks.
- Grandma with long hair and PaPa on June 3, 2020

Grandpa and grandma are so proud of the wonderful job you do of drawing. You are light years ahead of us! We are both not very good at drawing. We both can basically draw a stick man and that’s about all the further it goes! Keep up the great work!
- Linda on January 23, 2020

Grandma and papa like the colors and shapes and textures. We like the way it fills the screen and the edges. It would make a beautiful, large abstract gallery painting. Keep up the good work Estelle.
- Grandma and Papa on January 8, 2020

I love the abstract values and use of color Estelle displayed in Mister Seahorse. The purple and blue nicely complement the orange seahorse, while the black line down the middle suggests, perhaps, a struggle or a crossroads. There is a lot going on in this painting and it will, no doubt, leave viewers drawing their own conclusions, which is the sign of a true artist. Estelle is a talented painter well beyond her years and I look forward to following her career.
