Kayden. This is such an interesting texture. The explanation of the use of aluminum foil helped me understand the background. . I see the picture placing emphasis on the bright colored head and horns but using color to highlight the body. Your use of colors defines the moose against the silver background. I like your pictures! You have a good sense of color.

Kayden, This is so very different in medium as well as the subject! I love your choice in colors as you applied them. I especially like the way the gold contrasts with the silver foil background. I love it!

Kayden, The sun flowers in this picture are so "warm" and happy. The petals show a lot of detail and variety. You brought a detail of yourself into the cute inquisitive puppy whose paws are on the table checking out the vase...is he full of mischief or just appreciating...the answer is how one chooses to interpret it. I see your love of dogs! You are a good creative artist. Keep up the good work!!

Kayden, What a challenge to have to "tie" your carpet together with yarn. I like pink too. Your dog "Spot" is in the corner thinking about what he is going to do. What a challenge to make a dog from clay and then place him on the carpet. I love your art, the colors you use, the designs you make, and your creativity. Your talent is quite evident!!

Kayden, The neutral lower half of the picture with the variety of cacti is very realistic and shows balance in your picture. The tall cactus leads my eye upward to the sun and sky which is so energizing with its bright colors and forms. It reminds me that when I awaken in the morning with the sun shining, I have lots of energy for the day. Love this picture and you, Nana

Kayden's picture has a "chilling" effect on me during our cold temperatures. Her use of cool colors portrays an overcast cloudy sky with snow flakes beginning. Meanwhile the bear is comfortable hibernating to keep warm under the snow. The brush strokes on the snow send out an extra chill. I love the foreground with the sprouts spring up through the snow...the detail she added..to draw my eye to the lower half of the picture and the use of footprints to the side. Kayden incorporates a lot into her picture!

We have been having cold weather and when I saw this picture, I felt cold. The scene was in cool tones and the snow looked real with the shadings on the snow. I could see the animal hibernating under the snow and the foreground with its occasional sprouts and litter looking real, especially with the animal tracks leading away from the site. The artwork could be the start of a story telling what might happen when the animal awakened. I enjoyed the effect the "chilling" picture had on me with the use of color.

It has been cold lately and as I look at Kayden's picture, I sense the cold portrayed in the winter scene. The animal is hibernating under the snow and I sense a chill in the air. There is no sun, the snow has a blue chilling effect and the sky has a few snow flakes coming down.I love the sprigs of plants peaking out and the indication of leaves or footprints adding interest to the picture. Kayden, My first time to leave a comment. This picture stands out to me. So many different techniques went into the art. I love the boldness and the happy feeling I get when viewing it. Kayden, I loved hearing about this black bird project while you were working on it, and then seeing it come to life here! My favorite part is the rainbow-rays below the bird's wings, adding to the light and lift-effect. It gives the illusion that the bird is animate and flying up into the sky. Great job cutting/pasting/gluing/positioning, and making the border too. I can see you added paint, as well! Keep it up, and can't wait to see more of your artwork. Love, Mom
