This is one of my all time favorite nighttime winter scenes! Your white birch trees with their subtle shadowing in the foreground really are eye catching, especially against your deep, dark purplish-blue sky. Then as I study this work, I feel the excitement in the black details because it’s Christmas Eve.

What a fun picture you have made! I really like the feeling that the your background of purple and blue diagonal parallel lines give for your green, super hero robot. The robot’s joints in gray along with its four orange appendages really show up nicely. Your robot uses interesting shapes, lines and colors.

I really like this owl. I especially like the the way the almost rainbow shaped wings on the sides contrast with the parallel wavy blue color ribbons go through the orange stomach. I also like how you used orange on both of the wings and the stomach and feet.

The white lines really change the feel of this picture because the lines were made so deliberately in contrast to the freestyle of the color.
