Wonderful sculpture looks like you could pick it up and use it..you'll have to explain to me what all you used to make it and how you made it...love your creations...

You definitely captured the brilliant colors and patterns of Alma Thomas. I did see rings around the solar eclipse, similar to these. All the colors of the spectrum. Well done!

Very cool! I googled and see this is the school mascot. You did a great job making him look tough and ready to cheer for the school. Champ is a great name for a bulldog. And I like your bricks. That took a lot of work. Well done!

Good job, I know it's Champ the Bulldog but do I see a hint of Comet in his face? Love your artwork..

I would love to know more about your thoughts as you were drawing this. I see bright green grassy hills and tree. The sky is all darkness except the rings of fire? around a dark orb. It seems like opposite things appearing that could never work in real life. For example, plants cannot survive in darkness.

Great job on this! It is amazing how just changing the color on a line allows an image to pop from the page!

Bennett - How you capture the light by using darker shading behind the vase and around the edges of the purple adds depth to this work. Great job!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the use of Legos. And will make sure Uncle Travis sees this. You did a nice job with both sides of the butterfly being symmetrical. I would love to see this one flying in our garden!

Neato! I have an alebrije in my office. But yours is MUCH cooler. I'd like to see it under black lights!

Wow! this was good work. you used the white paint to change the dark blue into great shades of other blues. I like the cherry and sprinkle on top too. Sure is a lot of ice cream. You will share it with us?

Grandma doesn't know what this is but it is very colorful....it might be a snake with hands or a turtle...please let me know...and how many triangles are within?

I like this piece a lot. I like how the colors blend together and make new colors where they mis. I like the heart in the corner and how it is a bit hazy. Very nice work.

Your clay pottery is beautiful and colorful. I'm thinking it would be a pretty jewerly holder. You did fabulous ??

This piece reminds me of an acorn after a squirrel has gnawed out the insides for dinner! I love it! We saw hundreds of acorns when we went camping last summer. This reminds me of the fun times we had together exploring God's creation.

Mmmmm. Just looking at it makes me want a cup of hot cocoa stirred with a candy cane. We'll have to make some the next time you come to visit. The best part would be having a cup with you.

Wow! This is great! I love the web and the spider is very realistic. I think we have one that big near our front door sometimes.

Wow! You did a great job with the smudged lines. They make the apples and pumpkin seem more delicious. I really like the shade of orange you created with the yellow and red. I appreciate the choice of blue and green for the background too. The contrast make the colors of the apples and pumpkins POP. Well done!

Great drawing of a helicopter, flying through a blue sky. It looks just like the ones that fly over our house!

Interesting textures. I thought it was different skins from snakes and lizards. But then I read it was from quilt. Super cool.

Another fun project. I like the way you painted the paper (and of course, orange is my favorite color). The paints give the caterpillar's skin great texture. Love the eye patch too. Going to turn into a great butterfly.
Posted 5 years ago by AuntKarenL

Those are some COOL pine trees. The water color painting in the background looks great. I like how it is dark in some places and light in others. And you picked great colors of tissue paper for the trees. What a neat technique to use watery glue.

I love this snowman. Took me a second to realize it was made out of paper rolls. What a great idea. Your choice of buttons is great and the scarf is fantastic! Well done.

This is a great picture. I love the colors you chose to fill in your swirly pattern. It is a good mix of dark colors with a nice pop of bright yellow and fantastic orange. The small bit of purple is a nice treat too!

I love this owl! He looks like he has just spied a mouse and is planning to have him for supper!
Posted 6 years ago by Cheri

This is a great owl. I like how the torn brown paper looks like its feathers. Perched high in the tree, I wonder what it is watching down below. Well done.

This is a great painting. I really like the water color paints and adding the newspaper for the birch tree trunks is fantastic. It looks like the wind is blowing the clouds around in the sky. Must have been a windy day in Skokie.

very cool. I like the difference between the dark lines and the bright colors.
