Of course all of your work is impressive, but there is something about this piece that I am really drawn to. I can’t quite put my finger on it. The simple lines? Bold colors? Rabbit’s expression? I don’t know. Whatever it is, it makes me think of spring which is a very happy time! (I know this is an older piece, I really thought I had already commented on it)

Another stunning work by Jake! The bold blue and contrasting orange is striking and the intricate design along the backbone and tail is incredible. I also enjoy the effective use of value in the background. The attention grabbing creature welcomes the viewer and then the varied values behind it create a sense of depth that draws us into the space. Beautiful composition!
