I think what sticks out the most, to me, in this piece is the detail in the windows. Certainly, this was a pain to draw, but your hard work paid off because there is no doubt that this is a very ornate row of windows at a very fancy house, haha! What gives it life, though, is the shadows of giggling kids. You're growing SO much as an artist and I'm proud to be able to witness it!

I just want to come back to this one and say that she is just so cute!

Who is this cheeky girlie? I absolutely LOVE the fashion choices! The browns and beiges pop. The eyes are literally sparkling. She looks so cozy in this scarf, too. She is SERVING face and I'm here for it! Also, she's a lil cutie pie.

This piece reminds me of a song called "Wichita Lineman" wherein this guy works for the electric company, up on the poles (like we saw after the hurricanes). He's driving up and down the main road looking for lines to repair and there's NOTHING out there but dust and concrete. It's lonely and he misses his person. The sky here is gorgeous and is sometimes the only good thing about a long stretch of road. Great work!

Ahhhh!!! They threw the ball too hard! But, the book caught it, so it's ok, haha! I know this project was making you koo-koo but you did it! It's finished and it looks amazing. I hope you love it ... because I do! P.S. I wonder if the chapter title page selection was a deliberate choice. Very clever because this IS extraordinary and sadly, no one was around to see it, just these two kids!

Ok, I know this one is a work in progress and the realized version is giving you some grief, but I think it'll be amazing because this is such a great idea! They thew the baseball how hard?! It went all the way through a book?! Whoa. Cray. Good luck, girlie!

A snow globe! The colors of Riri's outfit go so well with the snowy setting! I really do love that she looks so cozy, but she's gritting her teeth (just a little) cuz she's kinda cold. Very cutesy, too, with the stars!

Have you ever looked up at the sky and wondered about life and the potential it holds? Have you ever looked at clouds and found silly shapes in them? Have you ever looked at the grass and been amazed at how beautiful nature is? This painting holds all of that within and you're not even done. You could be, though, because, to the beholder, this piece is a complete thought. It's full of hope and wonder, like you!

Even though this is a simple drawing, it tells me a lot about you: uncomplicated but not simple, unfussy but complex, silly and fun. Gorgeous work, dear! I may need to make this one into a sticker! She's a cutie.

I hope you draw more like this! Eyes are difficult, but you pulled it off! I can 100% tell that this is an eye. The depth, the texture, the perspective are all so so amazing! I really do like to look at this one and I find something different to love about it every time. The difficult pieces are how we grow as artists, right? Right?! Haha! But, really, you've done wonderful work here.

I think this piece is a classic case of "you're your own worst critic". I know you didn't want to finish but I'm glad you did. I hope you get a peaceful feeling looking at this, because I do. In fact, the grasses look like the water in a lake or a pond, and the little flowers look like lily pads. Is she sitting in the grass or wading through the still waters of a lake? I love both options. The horizon is fuzzy; does it mean she's unsure about where she wants to go? Did she forget her glasses? So relatable.

The thing that sticks out to me the most is that this hand looks pretty accurate, as far as relative finger sizes go! Your realistic drawings are improving; I bet that feels good to know! Also, my interpretation of this, because the arm bones look a little like a horn, is that music can be a way to reach your goals. And it is! Wonderful work!

You know what? For your first crack (haha!) at bones, it's not too shabby! It's definitely recognizable as a hand and a piano. I remember hearing about your troubles creating this, but it's great to see you step outside your comfort zone.

So, Dad put it better than me, but I especially like the texture difference between the tree and the cloud. I'm excited to see how your photography skills develop! It's so fun to see your personality shine through in your art.

excellent use of contrast between the sky, the clouds and building. creates a great depth of field, especially when incorporating the other elements in the foreground

Silly art! It's funny to think that this silly goober created all the other artwork in your portfolio. But, this is definitely you, the silliest goober ever! #sillinessisarttoo

How great is it to have fun while being creative?! This piece looks like it's setting the scene for a mystery story. The windows are all lit which indicates that there are lots of people around but the street is dark - the perfect place for the perfect crime to take place! I am amazed that, even when you've completed a piece, you're always looking at it and thinking of ways you could've changed it. To you, your art is alive and always changing in your mind. This is the sign of true creativity.

The colors on this piece are so calming and the grass looks so realistic! The different sized brushes you used really made the grass ...grassier. The light reflecting on the water comes through nicely -- great job. I get a feeling like, if I'm on this side of the pond, should I stay here and lie down in the grass or should I go over to the other side for a better view of the sunset? No wrong answers here because both seem like amazing choices. Also, your Japanese signature is a nice touch!

I've been hearing about your journey to create this sculpture and I'm so happy to finally see it! What a great thing it is to be able to turn your love of music into something tangible. This guy looks so cute and the eyes are very friendly and inviting! He's a silly and goofy little phone boi and we love him!

Ooooh, spoooooky! I love love love how HK look like she's getting electrocuted! It's definitely in line with the Frankenstein theme. The use of green and orange also give it a very spooky season feel. I'm glad your family's love of spooky season is reflected in this piece. This is absolutely going up on the wall!

I love the way the bees look like they're jumping out at you! This piece is SO incredibly sunny and friendly-feeling! The gradient in the yellow gives it a lot of depth and makes it look more like how honeycombs look; very does things found in nature are completely uniform in color. Your hard work really shines here! ??
