Hi Jerry, This painting has a wintery feel. The white dots could be snow? I like the different types of trees. And the little grey bird looks like he's snuggling up to stay warm. I love it!

Jerry, this a really good example of perspective. Making the lines shorter caused the picture to have depth and putting the brown stems, trunks, and leaves on the orange gave the glow of the orange leaves have substance. Excellent job! Nana!

WOOF, WOOF, Jerry! Me loves this red bird! Me wants one in my backyard. But Aussie said she will eat it. She loves eating birds for a snack. She is a brat. Zoey won't bother the bird because she is too fat and lazy. Those cats really bug me! Me told Garn and Grammy to get rid of them but they won't. They said they looooove the cats. Boo! Me thinks you did a great job drawing this bird. If you find a real one, please send it to me.

Hello my sweet grandson! Do you remember when Garn gave you that book, "Oh the Places You'll Go?" He was delighted to see your artwork related to that book. I really like the colors of your circular shapes. I try to imagine what they could be: maybe they're the hats of weird animals. Or maybe they're like round submarines with the periscopes up. Could be anything! What did you think your shapes represented? Love your artwork - and you too!!

Hi Jerry, Wow! This is one of my favorites. I'm definitely going to order a t-shirt with this design for Garn. I love looking at the little doodles. I showed this picture to Cookie, and she said, "Ooh, that spaceship scares me a little bit! Garn said Cookie is a big baby cry. Ha ha! (Zoey said, "That doesn't scare me! She's always bragging.) I'm sending you lots of squishy hugs and kisses!

The sky looks a little dark the way it does when it's getting ready to snow. It snowed in Santa Fe yesterday. It's too cold to go outside.
