Dear Natalie, Your artwork reminded Papa John and I of the giraffe we fed at the zoo in St. Cloud when you and Charlotte visited last summer! Do you remember the long tongue and pretty eyelashes on that real live giraffe? You captured her perfectly in your artwork. What a special gift you have!

What a cute Polar Bear you have created, Natalie! His eyes look very friendly and he doesn't appear to mind all of the blowing snow around him. It must be because of the thick, beautiful white fur you've drawn on him. Well done, sweetie!

Dear Natalie, I'm so glad you learned about the American flag and what it represents. It's hard work to paint 50 stars in rows...You did a great job creating the stars and cutting the stripes. Your Great Grandpa Rocky Elton is a veteran. I'll show him your flag when I see him this weekend. I know he'll be extra proud of you when he sees your flag art. Good work, sweetie! Love, Grandma Joan

I can see that you worked very hard on creating this jack-o-lantern! He makes me smile! You are a very talented artist, Natalie.

Dear Natalie, Your festive Jack-o-lantern makes me smile! As I look at his eyes and expression, I am imagining that "pumpkin Jack" is seeing something he is curious and maybe a little bit frightened about. Also, Jack must brush his teeth twice a day because those teeth look very healthy! Great work, honey! Love, Grandma Joan

Dear Natalie, Your picture of a beautiful autumn leaf makes me happy. The colors remind me of freshly fallen leaves that I raked and played in when I was a little girl. I like this picture so much that I would like to frame it and display it in my house in the autumn to remind me of you. I very much enjoy seeing all of your artistic creations! Keep up the awesome work, honey!

Natalie, your scarecrow is beautiful! I can see that the crows on your artwork love your scarecrow too because they are keeping their distance, but also wanting to be close to him because he looks very friendly. You chose a nice variety of colors in your detailed artwork from the scarecrow's patches to the sunny sky and cornfield. Keep up the amazing work, honey. Grandma Joan and Papa John are very proud of you!
