Thank you for this memorial to our precious Murray. I love the contrast of the ceramic bright white halo, and the soft yarn rainbow colors. Both remind me of Murray, so loving, so soft, but still always on guard to protect his people with his sharp white teeth, whether to defend them from an invader, or protect them from themselves. We will treasure him forever!

Love the homage to both Murray the Ice cream shop and to our beloved Murray. I see his lovely face peeking out of the ice cream balls - was that planned? Your color choices and textures and even the drips remind me of my granddog. Well played, well planned!

Wow! love your color choices, as well as the sparkly textures...even the puzzle peice cuts - contrasting smooth with lightning zig zags - makes me smile. Even your title "the book of life" is a winner. Great Job, Zellie

This is a pretty example of weaving, Zellie. I like your choice of yarn colors. Love you lots, Rah

Aw, so very cute. Love the texture of her fur. What a lot of work to make this oh so darling bunny. Rah Rah

Hi, Zellie, I absolutely love what you have done with this Owl Door piece! This makes me work to see the positive and negative spaces, and I keep seeing more and more pictures. It is I see a goat, and a camel, a flower and a lamp, a bird and a seahorse, a tee pee and a mountain, shapes with shadows, rings and donuts, a donkey and a volcano, a white rabbit and a black rabbit, and butterflies and hearts. I can loose myself in your creation. Good work, Rah

This happy, cute pixie makes me smile. I think it is a girl, because of the long lashes, and the impish wink and grin.

Nice embroidery. I see the real texture in the cloth art. This piece reminds me of a kite flying against a stormy sky. I even feel like it is swishing against a strong wind, and about to dive. I feel like the orientation of the lavender yarn and the texture of the red threads help to show me the motion. I even think the brown cloth with the open pattern makes your kite seem be in motion. Thanks for sharing, Zellie

I just love your art piece: Specks of Love The message of my art is to always be yourself and to remember you are loved.

Very Van Gogh! Very nice contrast of the wind and start nights with the substantial buildings, that have perspective, and look solid and safe. School, Home, Dad's Studio, Grocery Store. The mystery item is the brown item in the foreground. Is it a tree dancing in the wind? It echoes the points of the Moon in the shape and fluidity. Love it and you! RahRoh

Zellie, I like this piece on several levels. Did you arrange your own still life, or was it given to you? I like the mixed media aspect of the piece. It looks like drawing pencil, crayon or pastel, and also water color, which makes a nice contrast. Next I like the lighter colors in the front, and the darker in the back. It adds depth to the piece. Lastly, I like the round fruit shapes, verses the hard lines in both the foreground and the background. Good Job! I'm looking forward to seeing your next work.

Zellie, I am not sure if I have commented on this, yet. I like how this pot reminds me of several things. First, you captured the fluidity of the Chihuly process, with the hardness of the glass/pottery. Did this remind me of the chandelier project in the Indianapolis Children's Museum? It was created by Chihuly. Secondly, your Rainbow in Fun project reminds me of the surprising color changes between the outside and the inside of Geodes (Sparkling Crystals) or of Seahells (The multicolored mother-of-pearl and also the Pearls themselves). Great work, Zellie Love, Rah Roh

Hi, Zelli! I like your explanation of how you made this piece, Rainbow 'O Fun. It reminds me of a geode, freshly broken and revealed. Did your teacher fire the piece in a kiln? Or was it air dried? Please let me know. See you soon!

What a happy fish! I like the rhythm of the scales, and (of course) the sparkles. It looks like the sunlight is catching on the scales as she swims. Good Work!
- Rah Roh on April 15, 2023
This is the best piece, yet. Love the title! "Summon the Dead" So now I'm trying to figure out if the Jack 'O Lantern is doing her summoning by the cell phone in the foreground? And if all the M M M M M's, the C, and the V's are the people she is calling? Am I the C? Looks like it will be an awesome party.
- Rah Roh on April 15, 2023
I thought I left this yesterday, but it doesn't seem to be here now. This reminds me of a night hike in the Senoran desert. I love the cooler rainbow halo around your moon, and how you used the white highlight to both reflect the moonlight and to add depth to your cacti in the foreground. I can imagine lizards, bats, snakes and owls hiding in the midst of the plants. What a party!

Oh, My! You ended last year with an organic project, but this one just made me smile. It looks to me like tiny sea turtle hatchlings leaving the nest to jump off the beach and down into the water to join their mommas and dads, who are patiently waiting for them. Love it!
- RahRoh on September 7, 2022
Hey, Zell, How silly of me. This does not say "snail". Now I see your name, and I am debating whether the central picture is a Piano on a stage, or a fancy flower. I think I will go with the ...piano. Love you, Rah Roh
- Raroh(fan) on September 7, 2022
So maybe both are right - the River of Life around the Tree of Life. Very Biblical, Thanks!
- RahRoh on September 7, 2022
Ok, so I was wrong. This piece is entitled "The River That Never Stopped Flowing." and it is organic. What does organic really mean? It is that it looks like organs and blood and Platelets and a stomach and jelly beans in the stomach? I do see, now, the movement in the dark portion that you are showing the movement of the liquid. Nice Work!
- RahRoh on September 7, 2022
Well, Zellie, at first glance this looks like four tents on an island in a lake surrounded by a fence at sunset. I will find your comment and comment again if I am totally wrong. I don't think I am wrong.

Now do I see that these are flowers? I really got that from your title, Spring Time Calls. I still think they look like petroglyphs or cave paintings. Do you think the ancient artists used similar techniques to what you did - except another way to color the print besides magic marker. Let me know.
- RahRoh on September 7, 2022
Hey, Zellie, Is this a print? It looks like the Native American secret sign for water, that was carved into the rocks and sometimes painted. Like a petroglyph. How far off was I?
- RahRoh on September 7, 2022
I would like to congratulate you on another interesting project! The description is metal work. Did you etch texture into metal? Is this a still life? I think the variations in texture, as well as colors and shapes, really make this piece amazing. Thanks for sharing.
- RahRoh on September 7, 2022
Salutations, Zellie, I like this project because it really reminds me of some excellent caterpillars I have watched become moths and butterflies. I'm glad you took your time and made this so interesting. I like your use of textures, contrasting colors, and the eye-catching red and fuzzy chenille stem. That reminded me of the silk threads caterpillars spin. Or perhaps a necktie. I would like to know what you were thinking. Glad you took your time to make this right.

Hello, Zellie, I had to look up the history of this art piece. And you know I love to research! I believe you used your favorite colors to make this Eye of God. It is supposed to bring blessings of health and happiness, especially for the children. So, I hope you have lots of both. Thanks for constructing this good project.
- RahRoh on September 7, 2022
Yeah, Zellie! I like this piece so much because I knew it was showing movement even before I read what it was. Even the swirling background tells the story. I love how you used real art terms in your comments, and I agree that the green swirl is the focal point that the rest of the painting. Good work!

Hi, Zellie, This looks like a very fancy pumpkin. Am I right? I want to know if the black designs are glued on the top of the orange, or if the orange part has holes cut in them, like a snowflake, and then black paper is underneath. Whichever, it is a fun project. Thank you for sharing!
- Raroh on March 9, 2022
Hey, Zellie, I can almost feel the prickly spines of the cactus plants in your creation. It makes me feel like I am in the South West in the desert. I like how you used so many 3D techniques in your picture to make it feel real. Size (closer things are bigger), Surface (closer things are lower on the paper), and Density (more detail if it is closer, like the front cactus, less detail when farther away, like the mountains.) Keep up the good work!
- Raroh on March 9, 2022
Zellie, How did you get the idea to make this happy monster look so friendly? I like the bright contrast between your background and the creature.

Hi zellie! We love your falling fall leaves. Very creative colors! Could we have one to frame? Love gp and lala ??

I like your colors and all the different shapes. Good work, Zellie!

Hi, Zellie! I like this piece of your work. I especially like the contrasts of sharp areas with soft wavy areas. I also like the different colors as they contrast. Is that a word at the bottom? I think I read SNAIL. Is that right?
- Raroh on September 29, 2021
Hey, Zellie, Is this your house? I think it is because there are four people padding loving hearts to each other. I like the way you showed the outside of the house. It reminds me a little bit of Grandma Moses' work. What do you think? I really like it.
- Raroh on September 29, 2021
This piece is delightful, Zellie! Cute mice look like they are sharing the cheese. The sweet pastel colors are my favorite part of this art. Love it!

Hi, Zellie, This piece reminds me of the Tall Grass Prairie National Park. It has the sunny flowers, and the storm coming in the distance. Do you remember that trip? It was really fun with Uncle Andy, Mommy, Jack, you, and me. Love your interpretation!

Zellie, This art piece reminds me of the pumpkin patch day with the hay ride, the carousel, and all the slides and play house areas. And the gigantic bounce pillow, of course. Good Job!

Hi, Zellie, Lovely lady! Thanks for sharing. I really like your eyes. How did you make her shirt/dress? Lots of detail. Good work.

Hay, Zell, This piece reminds me of a stained glass window, and the way light shimmers through the frames. Love, RaRoe
