I like the bright color contrast and the use of darker green on the 'shady' side of the cactus. The paint strokes on the mountains in the background also imply strata in the distance.. Good work. -- Grandpa

Very Good Start.. I like the use of shading and the vanishing point concept. The addition of the bricks on one building adds a lot to the details. If you place yourself on the sidewalk and stroll down a bit you'll see somewhat of an optical illusion.. -- Grandpa
