Calling All Parents! Expressions 7th and 8th Grade students have been working VERY hard on their Day of the dead artwork. This Project Based Learning Unit incorporates not only artwork, but projects from Language Arts, Technology and themes of Social Studies. Like a sporting event, an art exhibit is how we showcase their individual and collaborative effort. Helpers are still needed on Wednesday, November 1st from 8:30-2:45 to set up the Day of the Dead exhibit! Please sign up using the A to Z link OR email me directly at jnovello@natomascharter.org. Thank You!

It’s TRICKY! Trick Photography is our next unit and kids are gonna LOVE it! Forced Perspective, Word Photography and Light Painting will keep the 8th grade students on their toes! At the end of the month when we get closer to Light Painting be expecting your child to request things like glow sticks, flash lights and laser lights to borrow. Some apps that may come in handy on personal devices include: slow shutter speed night camera, or colorful flashlight/torches.
