Celebrate and Appreciate!

Wanted to share that Donors Choose funded another Expressions project worth over $600.00 worth of Art Materials. YAY! NAEF is another BIG supporter of Expressions and has funded several projects this school year. Please consider joining NAEF and contributing on The Big Day of Giving!

I look forward to seeing you all at Street Fair on May 3rd. ;)

Just for Grade 7

Needles are flyin’! 7th grade students are in the midst of the Sewing Unit working their way towards mastering hand-sewing techniques. Students will sew fun and practical projects leading into their final pillow project. Hand sewing skills will continue to build in the 8th grade focusing more on geometric string art and fine detail embroidery.

Just for Grade 8

I am SO very proud of the knitting efforts of the 8th Grade Class! The class of 2022 knitted over 200 strips and wove together 35 baby blankets making Project Linus History! If you would like to help crochet a bordered edge around blankets to polish them up before donating to Project Linus, please click this link. Next up: Street Art!
Artsonia is the largest student art museum in the world! Our dream is that every young artist will have an online art gallery, preserving their masterpieces in a digital portfolio!
