The "earth" without "art" is just "eh."- Ned Roram
It's hard to believe we’ve been in school for 3 weeks already! Expressions students are well into the second project within their grade level unit and have adapted from summer to the daily norms and routines of the Art Room. It’s GREAT to be creating again!

Just for Grade 7
Manga Madness is Happening Now! 7th Grade students have just started their Animoji project! If you don’t know what that is- ask them and they will tell you all about it! We have been developing drawing skills since Day 1 and now students are ready to spread their drawing wings and fly! Hopefully you are receiving emails from Artsonia when they upload their artwork. Please let me know if you are having trouble with Artsonia or are not receiving artwork email.
Just for Grade 8
Op Art is making the Art Room SPIN! I am really impressed with how students are pushing themselves to master optical illusion patterns! Next we will shift gears and take on an intensive eye study and medium exploration to create a trippy Eye Illusion in the style of
Agam Yaacov
. I am super excited about this new project and can’t wait to see what the students will create!
Artsonia is the largest student art museum in the world! Our dream is that every young artist will have an online art gallery, preserving their masterpieces in a digital portfolio!
