About this Project
Students used sumi ink and bamboo brushes to create landscapes with brushstrokes and various shades of gray. They practiced brushstrokes and practiced making different parts of a traditional Chinese landscape before creating their own. They signed the landscapes with a chop, a carved printing stamp.
