First Trimester in Dryden's Art Class
from Mrs. Fuglestad
Thank you for signing up your student for Artsonia. I will be sending a newletter for each trimester to update you on all the things we've been learning and exploring in each of our grade levels during art class.
General news:
Last year's Fugleflick Filmmakers had their film
Movement
screen at the Chicago International Children's Film Festival.
See this tweet.
See all our past CICFF Fugleflicks
on this page
of my website. Read
the story
posted on the district website.
I had the opportunity to present at the Illinois Art Education Conference where I shared many of our iPad animation ideas from our classroom with art teachers across the state.
See my post here
.
We had a 3rd grader, Karis, recognized for her 2nd grade painting at the IAEA
student art show reception.
Her portrait will travel the state all year along with 44 other K-12 pieces to represent the best of the best in Illinois K-12 art. You can view the exhibit in April 2017 at the Palatine Public Library.
Stay informed:
If you want to follow throughout the school year, I blog regularly about art lessons on my
Fugleblog
.
I also tweet things we are doing all the time. Follow
