Some exciting news, Donors Choose just funded one of my projects! This means 7th grade Tape Murals and 8th Grade Packing Tape Scultures WILL happen this year! YAY! Check out my Donors Choose page linked here.
Lastly, Thank you to all who have donated art materials and funds these past two months. If you haven't had a chance to donate a minimum of $15.00, please click this link, complete the form and send your donation in with your child. Every little bit helps! Just for Grade 7

After a month of cutting, carving, inking, stamping and chalking it's time to get back to basic materials. Linear Perpsective is our next unit and the potential projects are linked here. Perspective is a tricky concept to teach so every year I try my best to create projects that will keep students challenged and engaged. This unit will culminate with collaborative Tape Perspective Murals that will be displayed on campus for the month of December.

Just for Grade 8

After a month of oil pastel, plaster and embroidery it's time to get digital! Trick Photography is our next unit and the potential projects for this unit are linked here. This is a FAST AND FURIOUS unit that incorporates an element of play with the use of tech tools in order to create digital art. 8th grade will have so much fun with these projects!
Artsonia is the largest student art museum in the world! Our dream is that every young artist will have an online art gallery, preserving their masterpieces in a digital portfolio!
