“There are no mistakes in Art...only new discoveries!" NRM
As an intro to this month’s newsletter, I have to mention that I am truly amazed at the amount of talent and willingness that I see my Visual Arts OPPAA students’ express when taking on new challenges and assignments.
What a delight to be working with such motivated and creative group! In order to demonstrate their artistic skills, students will have an opportunity to participate in upcoming art contests. I will be posting contest information in my classroom and in the main building. Interested students are encouraged to pick up flyers and forms in the art room.
IMPORTANT: To qualify, signed permission form and artwork must be submitted on or
before the posted deadline!
Art Room Recap:
K-2: Students used line, shape, patterns, and learned to analyze works of art.
