Art Room Update!
from Mrs. Meyer
Hi everyone!  I hope you’re all doing well and staying healthy!  I will be providing art project ideas you can work on throughout the week.  Your teachers will link the project ideas in their daily communication with you.  The project ideas will be the same (or similar!) across grade levels, so you can work on something with a sibling if you’d like.  You can do one each day, or pick and choose the ones you like. I’d love to see your work too! You can do that two ways:
  1. You can submit your artwork to your Artsonia portfolio from home! You can use iPads or similar devices (or even a browser) to photograph your own artwork, make edits and enter artist statements ! The artwork will be reviewed by me prior to being published. Download the Artsonia 6.0 app in the Apple or Android app store, select the "Students" option, then  type in the code below.  You can also go to www.artsonia.com/class on a browser if you don't have a compatible device. You can view a short tutorial video by going to www.artsonia.com/videos/student-app
York Center Access Code: RZWB-WZFM
  1. You can also send pictures of artwork to me! Email them to me at ameyer@d45.org or post them to twitter @MrsMeyerArt
In addition, I will be posting different art ideas on my Twitter account each day! Follow me @MrsMeyerArt

I miss everyone so much and can't wait until we're creating art together again.  Please reach out with any questions.  As I always say - art is the BEST activity to do when you are bored, stressed, or sad.  Use your creativity to express yourself and make others smile!

Take care,
Mrs. Meyer
Artsonia is the largest student art museum in the world! Our dream is that every young artist will have an online art gallery, preserving their masterpieces in a digital portfolio!
