Dear parents,
Thank you for the opportunity to teach your child art this school year.  It is a pleasure to watch them grow as young artist.  I have returned all of their precious art work to them and I hope that it has arrived to you in good shape.
I am issuing a summer drawing challenge to my students this year.  Below you will find a “25 day Drawing Challenge” list.  Any student who shows me their "sketch book” of 25 drawings, when school returns in the fall, will receive a small prize from me for their efforts.  They may choose to purchase a sketch book, use a note book, staple copy paper together or even use a 3 pronged folder.  I just want to encourage them to continue drawing and being creative while on summer break.  Thank you for always being so supportive of our art program here at Hedden Elementary.
