Visual Arts Showcase:
Our Visual Art Showcase was amazing! Students did a wonderful job showing off their amazing talent.

What's Happening in December?
December is a short month due to the upcoming winter break. Students have worked hard since the beginning of the school year and some are still catching up to complete assignments.
K-2:
Students are finishing up the “The Beauty of the Fall” project before winter break. Those who are done will create winter inspired "take-home" artwork!
3-6th:
We will briefly discuss
Color Perception in our Color Theory Part 2 Unit. Students will learn about Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's versus Sir Isaac Newton's color theories (Art versus Science). However, when they come back from break, we will explore this topic in depth as we continue our Color Unit.
Note: Some students still need to complete the “All About Me” Name Design project. They may have to take the artwork home as homework and bring the completed work for a grade in January. Please make sure your student does not fold her/his artwork.
EXCITING NEWS!!! We are changing classrooms! Therefore, I am
not accepting anymore donations for the Art department
until January 2016. Thank you parents for your continued support!

missing parent permissions (
79 artworks are hidden as a result). You may send your “
