Original Works Artwork coming home!!
from Mrs. Herbelin
Happy Saturday!!

I am working diligently to get your child's Original Works artwork ready to be sent home! Be on the lookout for a clear packet with your child's masterpiece, letter, brochure, and order form coming home next week! You should see it Monday or Tuesday, depending on when your child's teacher sends home important announcements. A few things to note:

1. If you want to order products, send the original artwork along with filled out order form and payment in the clear baggie back to me.
2. Orders are due Monday, October 30!
3. Checks and money orders must be addressed to South Knoll Elementary.
4. Whatever profit is made from this fundraiser goes towards buying extra supplies in the art room for us to get more creative!
5. If you do not want to order, you don't have to do anything! Just keep the artwork at home and enjoy it!

I am excited for you to see your child's artwork! They've worked very hard on these projects!!

If you have any questions regarding Original works, please call or email me!

Just for Kindergarten

These birds are fantastic! I am very impressed with their artistic abilities so early in their kindergarten year! It's going to be a great year!

Just for Grade 1

These stick leg animals never cease to amaze me! I love the artistic freedom first grade too with their animals! They weren't afraid to think outside the box! Creative geniuses in the making!

If your artwork work has a particularly stinky smell, I apologize! The company requires that I spray a fixative on any artwork created with oil pastels, so I had to apply the fixative. The oil pastel won't budge now!??

Just for Grade 2

I love these! Second grade students loved the freedom of drawing these perfectly imperfect shacks! Their colors are fantastic!!!

Just for Grade 3

These Laurel Burch cats are so colorful! Third grade loved using the technique of crayon resist to create these beautifully patterned cats! Their personalities are as unique as each student!

Just for Grade 4

I am forever amazed every time I do this project with my students! These fourth grade students had no fear in creating without pencils! They dove in with full confidence and created such beautiful masterpieces! I love the variety of patterns they used and the way they showcased so many art elements and principles!
Artsonia is the largest student art museum in the world! Our dream is that every young artist will have an online art gallery, preserving their masterpieces in a digital portfolio!
