Lotus Art Room - Creating at Home - Project 1
from Mrs. McManamon
Dear Families,
I hope this finds you doing well!

While these are difficult times for our world, for those at home waiting for this time to pass, it's a good time to get creative.

Using either a smart phone, iPad or computer, students can take a picture* of their artwork and upload it to the online gallery. Once uploaded, I'll review.  If you have previously granted full access, once I approve it'll be available for others to see using your student's personal code.
*Please take pictures of artwork only - using a nice background of either paper or cloth, i.e. a pillow case, etc. -  no floors, tables or rooms in background. Upload to the Art Created at Home e-Learning file.

To access your students account, go here https://www.artsonia.com/class/access.asp?url=%2Fclass%2Fdefault%2Easp%3F and enter code: WDKF-HSYC.
If you have any concerns or trouble accessing, please let me know.  I am available to help and will try to answer your questions as quickly as possible.

Our first project - directed drawing of a Shark/puppet :)

Cut and paste or type in the address in a browser.

For this assignment your student will need a black sharpie, or a black crayon, white paper (2 pieces of paper stacked if they use a sharpie so it doesn't bleed through) and either markers, colored pencils or crayons.  If you need crayons and white paper, please let me know and I will get some to you through our grab and go food distribution tomorrow.

Thank you for helping your student enjoy creative time - and feel free to join in!  I look forward to seeing the finished works!
