from Ms. McManamon
Good morning Artists!
I hope you are all doing well. I really miss seeing you, but I do enjoy seeing your artwork!! It makes me think of you.
I am so impressed by the work I am already seeing being uploaded (uploaded means a picture is taken of your art and saved to Artsonia). The artist statements that are being written by some of my creative and hard working artists are wonderful, I hear your voice through those statements!
For those of you who do not have paper, pencils, or crayons, please stop at Lotus' Grab and Go Breakfast/Lunch 7:30-9:00am. Just ask for the Art packet and Miss Michelle will give you one. Quantities are limited, so please only request if you don't have paper/pencils/crayons. :)
For my students that created a leprechaun last week, I brought them home and will be posting them on Artsonia soon, so stay tuned! I also brought home your snowman paintings which we hadn't had a chance to document yet. I'll upload those soon too!
I'm waiting for more students to submit their shark drawings. I know you can do it!! :)
Tomorrow I will upload our next guided lesson. Also, for one of our future upcycling projects, save the core of a toilet paper roll or paper towel roll.
Until then, please draw your favorite animal, make sure you put your animal in a setting (by the lake, in your house, at school, at the zoo). If you don't have a favorite animal, take the first letter of your first name and think of an animal that starts with that letter. Use lots of COLOR!!
I look forward to seeing your animal drawing later today or tomorrow. Please provide an artist statement too!
Have a creative day!
Ms. McManamon.... hmmm...I think I'll draw a Monkey sitting on a Melon on a Misty Morning ;)
