Great things are happening in art at SHS!! All of the students are showing progress and are learning to work together to create a positive learning environment!

In Art 1 classes, student recently completed their Soda Can Repeated Pattern Project. Student's work is posted in Artsonia, so check it out and become a FAN of your student's art!! Students will begin their next project over shape and form creating a Negative Space Still Life using watercolor/color pencils this next week.

PreAP Art 2 students recently completed their Mechanical Object Hand Drawing Project. Their work is posted in Artsonia, so check it out, become a FAN and even leave a comment for your student's art!!  PreAP Art 2 students are currently working on a pastel figure drawing.

AP students are hard at work, churning out two or three projects for every one Art1/2 project!! Its fast and furious, but they are doing GREAT work!!  Check out their projects, and become a FAN!!

Thank you so much for your support of your student's work and the Visual Arts at SHS. In case you are not aware, purchasing art items from Artsonia with your student's artwork on them helps support our program. No purchases are ever required, but we do recieve a portion of the sale of such pieces. The quality is good and they make great gifts!!

Enjoy your virtual exhibit and please, become a fan of your student's artwork so that you can get updates when new artwork is posted.
Artsonia is the largest student art museum in the world! Our dream is that every young artist will have an online art gallery, preserving their masterpieces in a digital portfolio!
